She came home with me at 10 weeks. I should have done my research because I eventually realized that the lady I bought her from was a broker and that Minnie most likely came either from a backyard breeder or a puppy mill. She is now 7 months and is healthy and happy. She is my baby and has won my mother's heart. She is the one that always greets me when I come home and is snuggled next to me when I am sad. She is my most loyal companion and I hope she will continue to grow healthy and happy.<br /><br /><span style="font-size:130%;">Max</span> is a maltese. About a month ago, I was searching through petfinder, looking for a possible companion and another dog to add to my family. I wanted to adopt a rescue. On petfinder, I found Max in the pet-classifieds section. His picture showed him with long hair and a cute smile. That night, I contacted his former owner through email and found out Max was still looking for a new home. The lady I spoke with the next morning was looking for a better life for Max, she wanted one where Max could have daily walks and play. That afternoon, Monica went with me to bring Max home. When I first saw him, he looked like a big white rug. The lady truly loved Max and cared.. even told me to take him without a fee and use the money to groom him. We brought him home, gave him a bath (his nails were shockingly long), and the next day took him to the groomers for a haircut :) I am very thankful for having a dog like Max. He is the sweetest boy and I could have not asked for more. He is now 2 years old.
